TL;DR

CONTROL-M Administrator (DevOps): Administering and transforming CONTROL-M environments within production infrastructure with an accent on cloud migration, automation, and API development. Focus on leading version upgrades, migrating physical servers to the cloud using infrastructure-as-code tools, and ensuring security compliance.

Location: Hybrid in Paris, 50% remote

What you will do

  • Administer CONTROL-M environments and lead version upgrades to V9.0.21.
  • Migrate 50 physical servers from AIX to Linux in the cloud using Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Automate installation, update tasks, and develop operational tools using APIs.
  • Deploy solutions in public and internal clouds, ensuring security compliance and product hardening.
  • Maintain tools, including on-call and weekend operations, and assist with cloud architecture and deployment.
  • Apply ITIL practices for incident and change management.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in BMC CONTROL-M administration
  • Location: Must be based in Paris for hybrid work (50% remote)
  • Languages: French and English proficiency required
  • Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with automation scripting (Puppet, Ansible, Shell Unix, Perl, PHP, Python) and API development (BMC CONTROL-M APIs).
  • Familiarity with cloud migration, Terraform, Git, GitHub, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL process management.

Nice to have

  • Experience with public and internal cloud solutions.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Experience in large-scale migration and transformation projects.
