What you will do
- Build and improve the full toolchain for backend, frontend, mobile, and data engineers, from local development to production.
- Eliminate repetitive tasks and manual processes through automation, ensuring alignment on code, configuration, and deployment standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product teams, Staff Engineers, QA, and Chapters to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Propose, design, and implement enhancements to boost productivity, reliability, and scalability of engineering platforms.
- Lead workshops, share learnings, and present at Platform Chapter meetings to promote best practices and foster continuous improvement.
- Optimize tools and systems to support fast-growing teams and ambitious projects.
Requirements
- Possess deep expertise in Python, Bash, or Go, with a strong command of infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
- Bring proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable developer platforms, and be comfortable working across both backend and frontend frameworks.
- Be passionate about automation, developer productivity, and modern release engineering (DevOps Mindset).
- Inspire others, lead by example, and thrive in cross-functional teams, helping them adopt new tools and best practices.
- Be able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, and enjoy mentoring and knowledge sharing.
