What you will do

• Build and apply ML models for language evaluation and multimodal translation workflows.
• Work on QUAIL and MAP platforms focused on multilingual AI and content localization.
• Design and implement quality evaluation frameworks and APIs.
• Collect, clean, and structure multilingual corpora for benchmarking.
• Deploy ML models into production and monitor model performance and drift.
• Ensure cost-efficiency and scalability of evaluation pipelines.

Requirements

• Work on-site in Stockholm, Sweden.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
• Expertise in NLP, LLMs including prompting, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Experience with quality evaluation frameworks and rubric design.
• Experience in data engineering for multilingual ML datasets.
• Comfort with MLOps and production deployment of ML models.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine translation evaluation metrics like BLEU, COMET, MQM.
• Applied experience in speech and multimodal ML tasks such as STT, diarization, TTS.
• Experience designing scalable automated evaluation pipelines.
• Knowledge of human-in-the-loop evaluation workflows.
• Understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances in translation quality.
• Experience with Spotify’s AI ecosystem (AIM, GLEE, MAP phases).
