IT Internal Auditor

What you will do

• Assist the assigned Audit Lead in developing and agreeing internal audit scopes with management.
• Participate in planning internal audits across multiple departments, assessing business, security, and technology controls.
• Lead meetings with auditees to develop an understanding of business processes.
• Document all testing steps and outcomes, including evidence, to help assess the controls testing process.
• Prepare draft observations, reflecting the results of the work performed, and support agreeing findings with business owners.
• Perform follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues, including validating evidence for closure.
• Advocate for the concepts of internal control and risk throughout hirify.global.

Requirements

• Relevant University degree.
• 3+ years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, or related risk/control roles.
• Experience in a multinational environment.
• Exposure to the IT/technology sector.
• IT knowledge in relevant areas such as data security, cloud computing, data loss prevention, and software development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, ITIL, CISM).
• 'Big 4' or internal audit experience.
