What you will do
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Systems Engineers and collaborate with sales and channel partners.
- Translate customer business needs into innovative storage and hybrid-cloud solutions.
- Lead presentations, solution demonstrations, and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Stay current with competitive landscape and promote thought leadership internally.
- Develop social media content to share technical expertise and industry insights.
- Support digital transformation initiatives including cloud-native architectures and container technologies.
Requirements
- Must be located in the US, preferably Austin, Texas or able to work remotely within the US.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, enterprise storage, networking, or cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Linux, VMware, networking protocols, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage C-suite and technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern web stacks.
- Experience with storage-intensive applications and databases like SQL and Oracle.
