What you will do

• Enhance the AWS Neuron software stack to accelerate Trainium and Inferentia accelerator adoption.
• Identify key customer adoption barriers and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement innovative solutions.
• Engage with academic and research communities to advance state-of-the-art ML systems.
• Develop and apply ML/RL approaches for kernel/code generation and optimization.
• Create advanced compiler techniques for ML workloads and build tools for accuracy/reliability validation.

Requirements

• PhD, or a Master's degree and experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience using Unix/Linux.
• Experience in professional software development.
