What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing pre-sales systems engineering team in the commercial organization.
• Drive operational excellence and support technical demand creation and validation.
• Refine sales strategy and take command of technical responsibilities related to storage products and architectures.
• Enable the team to capture customer requirements and translate them into innovative solutions.
• Author responses to RFI & RFPs and promote roadmap and planning exchanges.
• Stay current with market trends and competitive landscape to promote thought leadership.

Requirements

• Location: Remote role based in the United States (Philadelphia preferred).
• 5+ years management experience leading sales engineers in enterprise accounts.
• 10+ years supporting sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions to large accounts and data centers.
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture.
• Knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN) and digital transformation technologies including cloud native, on-prem, public cloud, automation, and containers.
• Strong networking knowledge including VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
