What you will do

• Define and maintain architecture roadmap for e-commerce and vending machine platforms aligned with business goals.
• Architect integration of e-commerce, payment gateways, ERP, inventory management, and vending backend systems.
• Lead and mentor solution architects and engineering teams, managing people managers.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Evaluate and adopt technologies including cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions for omnichannel experiences.

Requirements

• Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States (hybrid work environment)
• 10+ years of relevant experience with 3-5 years in people management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent expertise.
• Deep knowledge of e-commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Node.js; experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 4 times per year.

• Experience with technology integration during mergers or platform consolidations.
• Knowledge of modern headless commerce architectures and IoT device integration.
