Salary: $229,000-$343,000 annually depending on location and experience

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment
  • Set strategy, build roadmaps, and create measurable goals for the team
  • Optimize auction dynamics to balance competing goals in ads delivery
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into algorithmic requirements
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs and provide strong technical mentorship
  • Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members

Requirements

  • Must be located in or willing to work onsite in Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, or Palo Alto, USA
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year managing engineering teams
  • Experience building high availability and mission critical systems
  • Experience with recommendation systems and two-sided markets
  • Strong leadership and ability to execute large, complex technical initiatives

Nice to have

  • Experience in ads domain and operations-heavy systems
  • Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, collaborative environments
