What you will do

• Lead Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle for Fixed Networks products and transformation programs.
• Design and develop solutions using Java, JavaScript, Oracle, NoSQL, and modern frameworks.
• Build scalable tools supporting automated DevOps CI/CD pipelines and regression testing.
• Drive architectural decisions, adopt emerging technologies, and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor teams to deliver robust telecom solutions.
• Coach and mentor teams, conduct peer reviews, and manage budgets for applications and partner ecosystems.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week in Birmingham, UK.
• Hands-on coding skills in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Oracle, and related technologies.
• Experience with microservices, containerization, cloud deployment, and DevOps CI/CD lifecycle.
• Strong telecom OSS knowledge including planning, inventory, orchestration, and activation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead complex technical projects.
• Familiarity with Agile and other delivery methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Graph DBs like Neo4J or OrientDB.
• Telecom and Java/Oracle certifications.
• Experience working with large telecom service providers and distributed teams.
