Location: Hybrid in Toronto or Montreal, Canada (2 days/week in-office required)

What you will do

• Partner with diverse teams to implement cutting-edge features for the hirify.global app.
• Lead the development of complex features like analytics and gamification elements.
• Coordinate and align Android development standards across the organization.
• Architect and develop top-tier Android software using Kotlin and Modern Android Development tools.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code, ensuring adaptability for changing business needs.
• Mentor and coach junior Android developers.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience as an Android Developer/Engineer, Architect, or comparable role.
• Significant expertise with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep familiarity with Kotlin and AndroidX libraries.
• Profound understanding of scalable applications, modularization, and app architecture.
• Demonstrable skills in Unit/Instrumented testing.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication competencies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (2 days/week in-office) in Toronto or Montreal, Canada.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in managing application releases and Google Play publishing.
• Familiarity with Server-Driven UI solutions.
• In-depth understanding of Git, CI/CD, and git flows.
• Record of sharing knowledge with the open-source community.
