Location: Hybrid in Toronto and Montreal, Canada (2 days/week in-office)

What you will do

• Lead development of complex Android app features to enhance user engagement and experience.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement cutting-edge features and intuitive UI using Jetpack Compose.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication and align Android development standards across the organization.
• Architect and modernize legacy code following clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Mentor and coach junior Android developers to grow their skills.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with mandatory presence in Toronto or Montreal offices 2 days per week.
• Over 10 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, AndroidX, scalable app architecture, and testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead development efforts.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience managing app releases and Google Play publishing.
• Familiarity with Server-Driven UI and CI/CD pipelines.
• Active participation in open-source or Android communities.
