Software Engineer

What you will do

• Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver scalable products
• Master and improve development processes, culture, and code base
• Operate effectively in a hybrid engineering model ensuring code quality
• Mentor team members in technologies, tools, and processes
• Present and review designs internally and externally
• Develop test strategies and automation frameworks, participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in San Francisco or Bellevue
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and at least one OOP language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language and web framework (Node, Express, Hapi)
• Understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax)
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL) and relational schema design
• Experience in automated testing (unit and functional) using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Experience building highly scalable web applications
• Experience with Agile and test-driven development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Track record as a top performer in previous roles
