What you will do

• Conduct AI system risk oversight reviews ensuring controls across lifecycle stages.
• Monitor AI governance gaps, regulatory updates, and critical issue handling.
• Collaborate with business, tech, and compliance teams to strengthen AI governance frameworks.
• Provide high-quality risk analysis, advice, and guidance tailored to senior stakeholders.
• Lead or deputise AI risk specialists and support AI use case strategy and risk assessment frameworks.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the UK with hybrid working in specified cities
• Experience in model risk, AI governance, compliance, or technology risk.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and GenAI risks across lifecycle stages.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional engagement and risk reporting.
• Familiarity with risk or governance frameworks applied to AI.
• Experience in second-line risk or oversight roles supporting assurance and regulatory alignment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security risk concepts like data leakage and adversarial threats.
• Familiarity with global AI regulations such as EU AI Act and GDPR.
• Exposure to AI tooling or monitoring platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, LLMOps).
• Understanding of ethical AI topics including fairness and accountability.
