What you will do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex projects within the Threat Detection Engineering domain.
  • Collaborate with security engineers, software developers, and IT operations to define project requirements, scope, and goals.
  • Guide project decisions and strategies with hands-on work in Splunk, Cribl, Exabeam, and Google SecOps.
  • Lead the integration of Agentic AI solutions to enhance detection engineering workflows and automate threat analysis.
  • Develop and implement automations to improve security operations using Python or low-code/no-code platforms like Tines.
  • Champion Infrastructure as Code practices, manage project risks, and ensure project success.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3+ years leading large-scale Detection Engineering Programs.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and practical experience integrating AI-driven workflows into security operations.
  • Technical background in cybersecurity technologies and methodologies, with a focus on threat intelligence, detection, response, and prevention.
  • Deep technical expertise in Splunk, Google SecOps, Detection Engineering, Detection as Code, Infrastructure as Code, and Security Operations.
  • Experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a cybersecurity or technology-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in creating automations with Python or low-code/no-code solutions like Tines.

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP).
