What you will do

• Collaborate with design and platform teams for flawless integration of changes into the live network, utilising automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilise tools such as Ansible and Python for scalable and efficient infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Apply network principles to troubleshoot network faults, optimise performance, and enhance security.
• Support 24/7 callout for final line assurance and technical resolution across diverse technologies.
• Act as a technical expert with a strong understanding of the end-to-end customer journey.
• Enhance team brand and support the development of colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced ISP environment, managing and troubleshooting large-scale networks.
• Knowledge of network protocols, including Radius, BGP, OSPF, DNS, and MPLS.
• Understanding of network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python or Ansible, and familiarity with CI/CD orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with hardware from leading vendors such as Cisco, Dell, Juniper, and Nokia.
• Experience deploying new developments to live networks across various infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Routers, Switches, and Servers.
