What you will do

  • Lead and manage the sales department, overseeing junior and senior sales professionals.
  • Create and implement sales plans aligned with KPIs to optimize commercial performance.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with key customers internally and externally.
  • Drive sales by evangelizing products and closing major deals personally.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to identify improvement areas and forecast opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams including Dealing, Product, Compliance, and Data to achieve targets.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of sales experience with 3 years in leadership roles, preferably in FX or cross-border financial services.
  • Strong financial services background with a network of contacts and experience in commercial banking or fintech environments.
  • Experience managing and mentoring sales teams of varying seniority.
  • Knowledge of the UK local market and business/finance academic background is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Comfortable with phone sales and data-driven sales strategy development.

Nice to have

  • Experience in startup or vendor environments outside traditional banking.
