What you will do
- Provide ongoing oversight and analysis of credit risk performance and monitoring metrics.
- Partner with first line teams to support credit strategy changes and new product launches.
- Deliver independent challenge and insights on credit decisioning and strategies.
- Lead second line assurance work and thematic reviews.
- Collaborate with model validation and development teams on credit risk models.
- Support maintenance and embedding of the Credit Risk Framework within the business.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the UK or able to work remotely within the UK
- Strong background in credit risk management in consumer or small business lending, especially unsecured and revolving products.
- Proven analytical skills with experience in SQL and data visualization tools.
- Experience with scorecards and NPV models for credit decision strategies.
- Clear communication skills to explain complex issues to non-experts.
- Self-starter mindset with ability to provide effective challenge and build relationships.
Nice to have
- Experience with Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Passion for fintech and technology innovation.
