Cyber Practice Technical Director.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network and cyber architectures for federal government clients;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met;
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members;
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies;
• Present security solutions and recommendations to client stakeholders;
• Own the cyber innovation and emerging technology strategy;
• Create thought leadership collateral aligned to the AFS Cyber vision and strategy.

Requirements:
• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance;
• DC Metro (Will require hybrid on-site support in Arlington, VA);
• Minimum 15+ years of experience focused on cybersecurity engineering and providing Federal clients innovative technical solutions;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field;
• Extensive hands-on technical expertise in network security architecture and implementation of secure cloud (and hybrid) infrastructures;
• Extensive experience with anomaly detection and analysis of emerging cyber threats/vulnerabilities across various technical stacks, to include: networks, Operating Systems, mobile devices, and Critical Infrastructure Systems;
• Ability to evaluate commercial cyber products and make recommendations;
• Working knowledge of Federal Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Release to Manufacturing (RTM) & channel programs (Distribution, Value Added Reseller (VARs), Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), etc.);
• Proven track record of developing and implementing security solutions for complex environments;
• Experience with security frameworks including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP;
• Demonstrated cyber leadership capabilities to accelerate growth across the federal government;
• Proven results of expanding cyber leadership capabilities that have accelerated growth;
• Broad personal network and relationships across the Federal ecosystem;
• Familiarity with building Managed Security Services Strategy and Go to Market;
• Demonstrated support to Federal programs like TIC 3.0, CDM, PDNS, SCCA, CNAP.
