Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days in office in Utrecht, Netherlands. Candidates must be based in the Netherlands or be able to relocate there without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain features for the Validaide platform and related software.
• Collaborate with QA, product owners, and other developers to deliver secure and compliant features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews.
• Write and maintain automated tests for backend and integrated features (e.g., PHPUnit, Behat).
• Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for systems.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks to enhance application efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure developed solutions align with regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11).

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience with PHP, Symfony, and MySQL.
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing company; previous experience in startups/scaleups is valued.
• Well-versed in English and a team player.
• Interest in contributing to the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
• Must be based in the Netherlands and willing to grow with the company for a longer period.

Nice to have

• Ambition to take on a team lead role.
• Experience or interest in learning new technologies like Java, Quarkus, and PostgreSQL.
