What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data ingestion and transformation
• Own and scale ETL/ELT processes using dbt, BigQuery, and Python
• Build modular data models powering analytics, product features, and LLM agents
• Integrate external and internal data sources to create unified datasets
• Collaborate with AI, product, and engineering teams to define data contracts and optimize pipelines
• Monitor pipeline performance and ensure data quality and integrity

Requirements

• Location: Remote candidates from US, UK, Brazil or hybrid in San Francisco or London
• 5+ years experience in data engineering with ETL/ELT and large-scale data systems
• Strong skills in SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Python, and cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS)
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced settings

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML data systems, LLMs, or agent-based tools
• Built or scaled internal data platforms or customer data products
• Exposure to event-driven architectures or real-time data ingestion
