What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Kotlin.
• Implement business logic, APIs, and integrate with external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Experience: 2.5+ years as a Kotlin Developer or Backend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and JVM ecosystem.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with frameworks such as Ktor or Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and reactive patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• English: Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of test automation and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience working with any frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with Camunda or similar workflow/orchestration engines.
