What you will do

• Evolve and apply technical vision for high-scale log ingestion and query intensity (>100 PB/d).
• Lead by example on customer focus and operational excellence.
• Deliver key parts of systems directly as an individual contributor.
• Demonstrate promising approaches via proof-of-concept software and secure owner buy-in.
• Partner on NG-SIEM technical and product strategy and roadmap execution.
• Engage with principal engineers across hirify.global to ensure technical strategy coherence.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple software products/systems/releases in a SaaS delivery model.
• 8+ years of experience as an engineer in a force-multiplying position (delivery through others).
• 3+ years current hands-on experience owning a distributed system that handled tens of billions of requests per day or more than 1 PB of data per day.
• History of significant and continued impact on customer experience and business results.
• Demonstrated track record of operational excellence when operating services across many components and geographical regions.
• Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels.

Nice to have

• Hands-on development experience in Scala.
• Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise with Kafka.
• Exposure to or experience with Log Management or cybersecurity products.
• Machine learning and data science familiarity and hands-on experience.
