Director Enterprise Applications

TL;DR

Director Enterprise Applications: Own strategy, delivery, and operation of core business systems including Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365 with an accent on enterprise application portfolio management, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Hybrid in Westlake, TX (In office 2-3 days per week)

What you will do

• Develop and execute enterprise applications strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Manage portfolio of applications including Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365, optimizing cost and value.
• Lead enterprise application projects, ensuring quality delivery and effective change management.
• Oversee operations, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.
• Partner with business leaders across Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize processes.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and application professionals fostering accountability and collaboration.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Westlake, TX
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive IT or enterprise applications experience with 5+ years in leadership/management roles.
• Hands-on or leadership experience with at least two of Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Proven success delivering large-scale SaaS application projects in growing organizations.
• Strong business process knowledge across Finance, HR, Sales, and Marketing and ability to partner with senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or software companies of similar scale (1,000–5,000 employees).
• Experience with application rationalization and standardization across business units or geographies.
• Familiarity with modern integration platforms, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) and relevant certifications (Salesforce, Workday, Marketo, PMP, ITIL).
