Salary: $107,700 - $285,900 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement reliable, performant, and secure systems supporting hirify.global’s compute platform including hypervisor, VM runtime, and automation tooling.
• Build features and automation to reduce operational toil and improve platform safety and predictability.
• Maintain and enhance existing compute services, fleet management workflows, and image pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt platform capabilities and integrate with APIs and workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to documentation and support asynchronous communication in a distributed team environment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States to work remotely
• 4+ years technical experience in infrastructure domains or equivalent education and experience.
• 2+ years building and supporting large-scale, high-traffic platform/infrastructure applications.
• 2+ years experience with cloud native workloads in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with planetary scale engineering systems.
• Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
• Expertise in Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
