What you will do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark (Python and Scala) on the Databricks platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Food Analytics, Operations, Marketing, and Web/App Development
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and data quality
• Lead and mentor the Data Engineering team, setting standards for code and data quality
• Work closely with Analysts to improve the analytics data model and enable self-service analytics
• Investigate datasets to answer business questions and validate assumptions before pipeline deployment

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years experience in ETL development, data modeling, Python, and Spark
• 2+ years managing a Data Engineering team
• Experience with Scala and Databricks platform
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into solutions
• Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US
