Salary: $110,000–$200,000 per year (varies by state)

What you will do

• Create and maintain automation tests ensuring regression coverage and maximum traceability.
• Provide architectural insight and evangelize quality and testing-first approaches in SDLC.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and troubleshoot to guarantee feature quality.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive automation strategy to increase coverage and improve test efficiency for complex applications.

Requirements

• Must be located in the USA within specified states or willing to work remotely from these states.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in automated test frameworks and strategies.
• Advanced programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript with experience in Selenium, RestAssured, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AI-driven testing technologies such as TestRigor and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship; Chicago city limits excluded.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and DevOps concepts.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
