What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for database and backend testing.
• Create and execute test cases for stored procedures, triggers, and database functions.
• Implement mocking techniques to simulate database interactions and isolate components.
• Develop unit and integration tests using mocking frameworks like Mockito, JMock, or WireMock.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and identify performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Durham, United States
• English: B2 level or higher
• 5+ years experience in database and backend testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and stored procedure testing.
• Proficiency in mocking techniques and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools and API testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated test frameworks for mobile and web applications.
• API test automation skills using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, containerized environments, and cloud-based database solutions.
• Security testing experience for database vulnerabilities.
