What you will do
- Design and implement new and existing communication protocols for OT products
- Develop protocol specifications, documentation, and reference implementations
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate protocols into applications
- Conduct performance benchmarking, scalability testing, and optimization
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices
- Debug and resolve interoperability issues across platforms
Requirements
- Location: Must work onsite in Krakow office minimum three days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs
- Proficiency in C++, Golang, Python, and metrics-driven development (Prometheus)
- Experience with modern development tools like git and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging skills and ability to maintain code quality under pressure
Nice to have
- Experience with OT technology stacks such as Rockwell, ODVA Protocols, Siemens, Profinet, and Profibus
