Staff Accountant

What you will do

• Administer the company’s travel and business expense reimbursement program, reviewing reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Process and assign credit card transactions in ERP, performing monthly reconciliations.
• Perform monthly close tasks and prepare journal entries with sufficient documentation.
• Maintain various monthly balance sheet reconciliation schedules and provide research to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable, contact customers with overdue accounts, and prepare regular collection reports.
• Prepare documentation for annual financial audits and assist with the purchase order process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 0-2 years of experience in a corporate accounting/finance department or public accounting firm
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and their application.
• High attention to detail, well organized, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, look-ups) and proficient in MS Office suite core applications.
