TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Developing and enhancing next-generation payments technologies for merchants with an accent on acceptance rates, processing cost reduction, and fraud prevention. Focus on designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions for complex global payments.

Location: Hybrid in Sao Paulo, Brazil (three days per week in the office)

What you will do

  • Lead and drive specific projects critical to the company's needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management.
  • Define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems within a microservices architecture.
  • Write clean, maintainable, extendable, and testable code for impactful systems.
  • Build, own, and operate systems to the highest levels of resilience and service.
  • Mentor junior team members and assist in their technical development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C# .NET, Java, or Go, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Great communication skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Work format: hybrid, with three days per week in the office in Sao Paulo.
