What you will do

• Own and operate AWS production infrastructure end-to-end including networking, compute, storage, IAM, and scaling.
• Standardize and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CDK across dev/stage/prod environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines ensuring fast, safe deployments with rollback and progressive delivery.
• Lead observability efforts with logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and incident response including postmortems.
• Ensure cloud security baselines and support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, mentoring, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Must have 7+ years experience with AWS production systems and 5+ years with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK).
• Proven CI/CD ownership for multi-service SaaS with safe rollbacks.
• Strong security fundamentals and familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance.
• Experience with observability, incident leadership, and postmortem practices.
• Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js for internal tooling contributions.
• Location: Must be based in the US for this remote role.

• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Prior team leadership experience.
