TL;DR

Software Development Engineer II (AI, Fullstack): Designing, implementing, and deploying critical AI services and AI user interfaces with an accent on AI-native engineering and advanced AI solutions. Focus on architecting durable software systems, integrating AI-assisted programming into workflows, and ensuring maintainable codebases for rapid iteration.

Location: Hybrid, onsite in Beijing, China, at least four days a week.

What you will do

• Drive the technical design, implementation, and deployment of critical AI services and AI user interfaces.
• Set a high bar for AI-native engineering by leveraging deep understanding of advanced AI solutions.
• Integrate the latest advancements in AI-assisted programming into daily workflows for efficient backend and frontend development.
• Collaborate with Research, Product, and Design teams to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences.
• Architect and operationalize durable software systems, using AI coding tools creatively to solve complex problems and ensure codebases are maintainable and testable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in coding languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development, including Frontend frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript) and Backend services.
• Strong grasp of scalable system architecture and design patterns.
• Highly open mindset with a relentless drive for continuous learning, embracing new AI coding workflows.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
