What you will do

• Support flawless network change implementation using automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor network systems to ensure optimal health and reliability.
• Utilise automation tools like Ansible for scalable infrastructure management.
• Troubleshoot network faults and optimise network performance and security.
• Provide 24/7 third line incident management and technical resolution.
• Support team growth and uphold high standards of accountability and performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Birmingham, UK
• Experience in a fast-paced ISP environment managing large-scale networks.
• Strong system administration and server management skills including Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency with network architecture, monitoring tools (Elastic search, Prometheus, Apache Kafka), and programming (Python, Ansible, Go).
• Willingness to support 24/7 on-call incident resolution.
• English: B2 level or higher required

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as BGP and IS-IS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia hardware.
• Experience deploying applications across diverse infrastructure including VMs, routers, and switches.
