What you will do

• Lead design and review of complex software systems and architectures.
• Specify functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance products.
• Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and security across solutions.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada or able to work remotely from Calgary
• Extensive experience in system design and enterprise software architecture.
• Strong skills in specifying functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and microservices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of emerging enterprise software technologies.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience mentoring technical teams.
