Location: Hybrid work environment in Livingston, NJ, New York, NY, Sunnyvale, CA, or Bellevue, WA. Remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office.

Salary: $165,000–$242,000

What you will do

• Embed with product teams to understand product performance and guide future focus.
• Analyze usage data, run experiments, and develop reporting on customer engagement.
• Directly influence product direction through data-driven insights.
• Help business partners set goals, make decisions, and understand goal levers.
• Build datasets and pipelines for self-service analysis.
• Train models for customer growth, churn risk, and spam detection.

Requirements

• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in large, event-driven datasets.
• Strong familiarity with analytical and statistical techniques for analysis, testing, and identifying causal relationships.
• Familiarity with common analytics concepts (funnels, retention, cohort analysis, experiment design).
• Ability to partner with PMs and engineers, translating questions into structured analysis.
• History of writing easy-to-follow code and effective documentation.
• Applicant must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to access export controlled information required for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Hex, and experimentation platforms.
• Curiosity about machine learning: theoretical or practical knowledge of ML workflows and terminology.
