What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and recruit a diverse team of applied scientists and software engineers.
• Set team vision and technical roadmap for future AI robotics applications.
• Guide research, design, deployment, and evaluation of complex motion planning and control algorithms for real-world manipulation problems.
• Collaborate closely with perception, hardware, and software teams to create integrated robotic solutions.
• Implement best practices in applied research and software development, managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience.
• 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, or Python.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of industry or academic research experience.
• Strong understanding of robotic manipulation, motion planning, control theory, and robotics.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
