What you will do

• Develop product features and updates for a global food tech platform according to the roadmap.
• Write highly testable, automatable, and performant code using high coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and review feature design documents, providing input to specifications.
• Participate in team activities including daily meetings, planning, and retrospectives.
• Coach and supervise middle/junior engineers as required.
• Conduct research on new experiments and ideas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin / Java, with a strong understanding of the JVM ecosystem and interoperability.
• Hands-on experience with Ktor for building and deploying backend APIs and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of Koin for dependency injection and application modularity.
• Proven experience in backend API integration, including OpenAI and other LLM APIs.
• Strong skills in prompt engineering to design, optimize, and manage prompts for effective LLM interaction.
• Practical experience in writing and performance tuning of complex SQL.
• In-depth proficiency in JUnit and Mockito.
• Previous participation in constant quality improvement, including code reviews and setting up quality metrics.
• Hands-on experience with monolith, microservice, and serverless architectural styles.
• Practical experience in infrastructure configuration using popular cloud providers.
• Location: Must be based in Ukraine
