TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Digital Health): Leading legal support for hirify.global, advising on commercial agreements, data protection, IP matters, and day-to-day corporate governance. Focus on ensuring GDPR-compliant processing of personal and health data, integrating IP safeguards into commercial agreements, and providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice in a dynamic digital health environment.

Location: Remote within Germany (hybrid policy with 4 days per month in office).

hirify.global is a digital health company building medical applications and using artificial intelligence to provide individualized patient care and novel data insights for Pharma and Life-sciences.

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial, client, partner, vendor, and data agreements.
  • Ensure GDPR-compliant processing of personal and health data, supporting DPIAs and privacy-by-design initiatives.
  • Protect hirify.global’s intellectual property and trademarks, integrating IP safeguards into commercial agreements.
  • Prepare shareholder/GF resolutions and manage governance documentation for corporate housekeeping.
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to Commercial, Product, Data & Leadership teams and conduct risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer with an excellent academic degree.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in a digital environment.
  • Solid knowledge and extensive experience in corporate law, with an advantage in trademark and medical device law.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do mentality for new or previously unknown topics.
  • Native level German and excellent English, capable of negotiating and drafting contracts in both languages.
