What you will do
- Develop and own a clear, long-term vision for The Sun’s digital products.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a passionate and skilled Product team.
- Promote a culture of creativity, problem solving, and collaboration within the Product team and across the business.
- Drive the evolution of digital capabilities, particularly across app, video, membership offerings, and editorial tooling.
- Monitor trends and innovations in acquisition, monetisation, identity, and paywall tools.
- Ensure digital platforms deliver outstanding user experiences that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading digital product management in an audience-focused, digital-first environment.
- Experience working within a publisher environment, balancing editorial priorities, brand identity, and commercial objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, adept at bridging business and technical teams and managing senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of app, video, and membership eco-systems.
- Proficient in agile methodologies, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions, prioritise initiatives, and measure success.
