What you will do

• Prepare, analyze, model, and forecast economic data using econometric software and large datasets.
• Support senior economists in reviewing and refining econometric models.
• Develop econometric and credit forecasting models for consulting projects and in-house use.
• Produce written analysis of UK economic, regional, and credit market trends.
• Present forecasts and analysis to partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote fair customer treatment.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Nottingham, UK
• MSc or undergraduate degree in Economics, Econometrics, or related discipline with focus on macroeconomics, statistics, or mathematics.
• Experience building econometric models and producing macroeconomic forecasts.
• Proficiency with R, EViews, and Excel for data manipulation and forecasting.
• Experience presenting economic and macroeconomic data.
• Familiarity with UK data, credit markets, and regional economic analysis is desirable.
