☑️In this role, you'll:
-Attract attention to and explain various aspects of Java technology using our product portfolio (through speaking, videos, blog posts, livestreams, sample code, live demos, etc.)
-Build and maintain relationships and a reputation in the industry with global and regional communities and on social networks.
-Work with community influencers on joint initiatives to promote our product.
-Provide feedback to the product teams and help them shape the roadmap.
-Meet with customers to listen to them, educate them about our offerings, and bring feedback to the product team.
-Speak to the press on behalf of our products.
-Contribute as needed to other areas at JetBrains.

☑️We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:
-Applied experience with software engineering best practices: testing, refactoring, version control, etc.
-Practical experience with one or more Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Quarkus. Deployment experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies: Hibernate, JUnit, logging, testcontainers, databases, messaging frameworks.
-Strong understanding of the JVM toolchain, build systems (Gradle, Maven), and testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
-Fluency in both spoken and written English.
-Experience in developer advocacy.
-Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to tell a compelling story about a technology.
-Self-organization, goal-setting, and time-management skills.
-Willingness to travel.
