What you will do

• Develop and enhance ranking algorithms for News & Feeds using advanced machine learning and generative AI techniques.
• Design, develop, and implement recommendation algorithms to drive user engagement and deliver product features.
• Optimize existing recommendation algorithms by analyzing performance metrics and user feedback.
• Innovate in the areas of NLP, LLM, and recommender systems.
• Perform data analysis to identify patterns and opportunities to improve recommendation system relevance and quality.
• Build systemic solutions and models to optimize overall user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research).
• Alternatively, Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience or Doctorate with 1+ year of experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in recommender systems, search engines, or online advertising.
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), statistics, and data mining techniques applied to personalization.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Python programming.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in a related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience OR Doctorate AND 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Additional experience in languages such as C# or C++.
