What you will do

• Leverage state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to provide the best personalized experience to end users.
• Originate, implement, and iterate on machine learning features and models to keep improving product quality.
• Closely collaborate with different teams within Microsoft to expose personalized content and enable agile development.
• Lead and mentor resources across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience OR Master’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with machine learning, data analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with LLMs (prompting, fine-tuning, deployment).

Nice to have

• Demonstrated ability to be productive and effective in a highly collaborative environment.
• Experience in Big Data machine learning with Cosmos/Scope/Spark.
• Experience with design, problem solving, and data analysis skills, with demonstrated passion for quality, performance, and engineering excellence.
