Build Engineer

TL;DR

Salary: $121,400–$161,800 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and repeatable software delivery.
• Automate build and deployment processes for internal tools and client-facing applications.
• Manage environments to support testing and development needs.
• Collaborate with development, operations, security, and QA teams across worldwide studios.
• Document deployment processes and automation workflows.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in New York City
• 5+ years of experience in configuration management and engineering for web applications.
• Experience with automated build tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Programming skills in OOP languages like C# or Java.
• Automation scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and containerization (Docker).

Nice to have

• Experience with branch and merge strategies.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, NextJs, Webpack.
• Knowledge of SQL.
