What you will do

• Provide Level 3 support and root-cause analysis for Oracle databases.
• Manage core DBA activities including backup, recovery, security, and proactive tuning.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, disk capacity, logs, and alerts.
• Support application databases with patching, data import/export, ETL processes, and reporting.
• Gather technical requirements, manage change requests, and support testing and production releases.
• Collaborate with global teams and contribute to IT infrastructure planning and implementation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Portugal
• 7+ years professional experience with 5+ years as a DBA.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle 12c / 19c (mandatory).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server is a plus.
• Proven skills in database performance tuning and infrastructure monitoring.
• Ability to provide Level 3 support and permanent issue resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to IT infrastructure planning and sizing.
• Comfortable working with global teams in fast-paced environments.
