What you will do

• Design and maintain robust and scalable SQL solutions.
• Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server components including queries, stored procedures, and integrations.
• Utilize Visual Basic (VB) for automation and data integration.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work effectively in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban) and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in similar development roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, integrations).
• Solid knowledge of Visual Basic (VB) for automation and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including dashboards, reporting, and VBA/macros automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit.
• Effective communication in Portuguese and Fluent English (C1) is required.
• Ability to work hybrid 2x per week on-site in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Understanding of API or cloud integrations (Azure or AWS).
