Senior Data Analyst (Finance)

Location: Hybrid in Rio de Mouro, Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Lead the full monthly sales forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy and stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain and improve forecasting models using SQL and Python.
• Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources including SQL, BigQuery, Shopify, and NetSuite.
• Build and maintain dashboards and automate reporting tools.
• Ensure data quality, version control with GitHub, and proper documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Leadership.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Rio de Mouro, Lisbon, Portugal
• English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills required
• 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, dashboard/reporting tools, and GitHub.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Comfortable working with U.S. time zones for meetings and alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with forecasting, Python, BigQuery, Shopify, NetSuite, and BI tools like Looker or PowerBI.
• Understanding of basic financial concepts and statistical models.
