What you will do

• Build and refine systems to improve developer experience across multiple web engineering squads.
• Focus on improving deployability, observability, and testability of web applications.
• Unpick dependencies, tighten build tooling, and create reliable ways for teams to ship and test applications.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape and deliver improvements.
• Take true ownership of technical improvements, including optimizing bundles and implementing visual regression tests.

Requirements

• Strong background in frontend engineering with a focus on modern web applications.
• Deep commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (Next.js is ideal).
• Solid understanding of the Node ecosystem and tooling (NPM, build tools).
• Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining test tooling (e.g., Jest, Playwright).
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders and sharing best practices.
• Experience working in agile teams and taking features from design through to release.

• Experience supporting web applications in production environments.
