Intern - Software Development Engineer

TL;DR

Intern - Software Development Engineer: Building and optimizing software features and DevOps tooling with an accent on API services, mobile and web applications. Focus on agile practices, production-first mindset, and vulnerability remediation.

Location: Hybrid work environment, 2 days a week in office in Arlington, TX, United States.

What you will do

• Attend and participate in scrum events and team meetings.
• Assist with vulnerabilities remediation.
• Assist with building and improving DevOps tooling, including pipelines and static scanning.
• Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and rapid issue resolution.
• Invest in Agile practices to continuously improve product quality and time to market.
• Learn to develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.

Requirements

• Must be a student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics, with at least one semester remaining.
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including presenting to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills are required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Nice to have

• Previous internships are considered a plus.
