What you will do
- Lead design, delivery, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Define scalable, secure cloud-native architectures and oversee core platform domains including compute, networking, and container platforms.
- Champion infrastructure-as-code, automation, and GitOps practices to improve reliability and deployment velocity.
- Drive platform resilience, security, and cost optimisation including monitoring, incident reviews, and FinOps practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cloud infrastructure and DevOps team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure meets fast-moving business needs.
Requirements
- Location: Based in or near Richmond, United Kingdom
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in DevOps leadership roles with strong hands-on AWS experience.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, container platforms, security principles, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of SRE and reliability engineering practices.
Nice to have
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Engineer).
- DevOps or SRE-related certifications.
- Experience with service mesh, distributed systems, or advanced observability tooling.
- Familiarity with FinOps practices and tooling.
